Modern Hardwood Black Walnut shelves bring a touch of natural elegance to any room. These floating look shelves create the perfect place for your dishes, dinnerware or small kitchen appliances. Made of stunning new Black Walnut wood and finished with a hardened clear coat, these shelves (sold as sets of 2) offer a perfect modern, but natural touch to your home!
Our sturdy Low Profile bracket option gives you the look of a floating shelf, but with the support of a thick and sturdy metal bracket that is mounted into studs. Mounting into studs is required.
These shelves are available in 24″, 36″, and 48″ lengths at 11″ deep and 2″ thick (nominal).
Our deep line of shelves are made of more than one piece of wood glued together to obtain the depth (the same way any standard wood furniture is made). This prevents warping or bowing that occurs in boards that are 11″ deep naturally, so there will be varying grain patterns and character on each shelf. It just adds to the beauty! Your shelves will look similar to, but not exactly like the set of shelves that we pictured. The coloring, grain and character are all naturally occurring.
With a 100 lb. weight capacity per shelf, our modern hardwood shelves are sturdy and offer substantial depth for storage space. From storing dishes in the kitchen, to displaying plants and books in your home office – these shelves are perfect in any room of your home or office.
All standard shelves are routed to hit standard stud locations that are 16″ apart on center. For longer sizes or layouts that will not work with standard bracket spacing, check out our Made to Order listing!
